How to make homemade crisp bars
Step 1: Prepare the pan Line
an 8×8 inch baking pan (or a similarly sized pan) with baking paper, allowing the paper to overhang the sides slightly for easier removal later.
Step 2: Add the muesli.
Place the crunchy rice muesli into a large mixing bowl and set it aside.
Step 3: Melt the fudge base.
Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan over low heat. Gently heat, stirring frequently, until completely melted and smooth. Then stir until smooth.
Step 4: Coating the muesli
. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the muesli. Gently fold it in until all pieces are evenly coated and shiny.
Step 5: Pressing and Chilling.
Pour the mixture into the prepared mold. Press firmly into an even layer using the back of a spoon or parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until completely firm.
Step 6: Cut into pieces and enjoy!
Lift the bars out using the baking paper and cut them into squares or bars. Store in the refrigerator to keep them firm and crispy.
