Homemade Maple Donut Bars

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Prepare the glaze by mixing confectioners’ sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the maple glaze over the slightly cooled baked bars, allow it to set.
