“Never buy eggs like that again, even if the discount is big and the price seems good”

To be honest, I had never thought about it. At the store, I always only looked at the production date to make sure the eggs were fresh, and I preferred the larger ones – class C1 or C0. These two criteria were always decisive for me.
But, as it turned out, things are not that simple!

My mother-in-law “enlightened” me on the matter. She was recently visiting us and one day she called me at work with a request:
“When you get home, stop by the store and buy ten eggs. I want to make pies for my son – he seems to have lost weight, you probably don’t cook for him, and he keeps eating on the chairs.”
